Can you guess my metaphor?

 Hi Bloggers,

Today I was making a metaphor, I was drawing not just writing a metaphor down. So this one is a bit like the simile one I did the other day. I will add my metaphor in and you must try and guess it. Then comment down below to see if your answer was correct. You can not cheat by looking at other peoples comments. I will also add a list of metaphors. I don't know if my metaphor will be easy, for me it did look a bit easy. But you can also write in your comment if it was easy or not. So now I will show you my metaphor:

Abstract Art

While we are in lockdown, I have been making Abstract Art. Abstract Art looks amazing and if you want to make it I will write it in this post. There is only four things you need and they are: Masking tape, pastels or crayon, any size paper and scissors. I will show you some pictures of my art. Then after that there will be the steps.

Here are the steps to make Abstract Art:

1. Get a piece of paper and any size will do.
2. Tape the four corners with masking tape. Cut the tape with the scissors when you need to.
3. Make different shapes using masking tape. 
4. Then with your pastels/crayons you use two different colours to make it look nice. 
5. Once you are done adding the colours you can press hard with a tissue paper to make it smooth and even better.
6. Now carefully take the masking tape off. Now you may display it somewhere you like.

Now I will type in the colours that look good together. There are a lot of amazing colours that go good with each other so I will make a list below.

• Purple and Blue
• Yellow and Red
• Yellow and Pink
• Pink and Blue
• Yellow and Green
• Pink and Orange
• Orange and Blue
• Red and Green
• Orange and Black
• Pink and Green
• Green and Blue
• Pink and Turqouise
• Navy and Teal
• Deep Purple and Blue
• Blue and Grey
• Any colour with white 
• Dark Green and Turqouise
• Grey and Pink

Practice SLJ 2019 Week 1 Activity 1

 HI Bloggers, 

Today I finished my SLJ task, that is from last year. It was practice from last year. This is a task from last years one. This task is the week 1 day 1 task. It's called exploring the world. If you didn't know what SLJ means then it means Summer Learning Journey. 

You have to imagine that you are going on a boat and you have to list 10 things that you will take with you. You will be going with nainoa and you have to remember that you 

1.  Water (To stay hydrated)

2.  Sunscreen (So I don't get sunburn)

3. Hat (I don't want lice)

4. Extra clothes (To change)

5. Life Jacket. (So I don't drown)

6.  Snacks like biscuits, Dark chocolate and other things. (So I have things that I can eat and dark chocolate give you energy)

7. Energy drink. (To be energetic)

8. First aid kit. (If I get hurt then I can use it)

9.  Comfortable Shoes. (So I don't get thorns or anything bad on my leg)

10. A warm rain jacket. (In case if it rains)
