Fantastic Similes

 HI Bloggers,

Today was super fun because we made a poster and put three similes in it with my name on it. We had to describe something to something else using the words "as" or "like" We made our own examples. I put a picture on the side of the similes. I hope you like it. Here is mine:

ℍ𝕒𝕑𝕑π•ͺ π”»π•šπ•¨π•’π•π•š!

 HI Bloggers,

Today is Diwali and its really exciting. Diwali always falls in either October or November each year, depending on the cycle of the moon. It's observed on the 15th day of Kartik, the holiest month in the Hindu lunar calendar. On Diwali we make indian sweets and we do prayers. We made Murku, Sao and Nimkies. This Diwali I did the prayers, putting the diya everywhere around the house, lighting up candles in front of the house and using the incense around the house.

We celebrate Diwali because Diwali is called the Festival of Lights and is celebrated to honor Rama-chandra, the seventh avatar (incarnation of the god Vishnu). It is believed that on this day Rama returned to his people after 14 years of exile during which he fought and won a battle against the demons and the demon king, Ravana.

I wish you all lots of wealth, good health, happiness, peace and love.

Have a great Diwali! :)

Thanks,
Have a happy Diwali.

Making Diwali Diya

 HI Bloggers,

Today was a brilliant day. If you wanna know why then here's why, today we made an indian candle named diya out of clay! Isn't that cool? On Saturday its Diwali and on Diwali indians, make sweets and give them out to everyone.

If you don't know how to make a diya then here is how you make them:

Materials: Modelling clay, Glitter, Stars, Sequins.

Tools: Modelling tools, Scraper pointed end.

Method:

1. Break a piece of clay

2. Roll the piece of clay into a ball

3. Once you think your clay is in a nice shape of a ball you can flatten it with your palm.

4. Use your thumb to mould it into a shape of a bowl.

5. Decorate your diya.

6. Now it should look like a diya.

Here are some photos:

This is a photo of me with my diya.

This is a photo of my class and I with our diya.

This is a photo of me and my friends with their diya.

OK bye
