SLJ - Day 4 Activity 1

 Hi Bloggers,


Today I finished my SLJ task which is 'What are you doing today?'. It was so fun and I have finished it. I had to make a copy of the slide and write sentences in maori. I enjoyed doing this activity. I found it hard to know what maori words say what but I eventually got it. My next steps are to not use the translater because I used it to help myself a little bit. I would like to learn a little more maori words and start to say sentences in maori. I might not keep zooming in and using the translater next time. I zoomed in so I can see what the picture was showing. Here are my slides. 




I am still doing the step it up task so as soon as I finish that, I will add it to this post. (Including my drawing of me and my mom doing it together)

    It’s Charlotte here, a commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. You have done some great work on the ‘What are you doing today?’ task!

    WOW I see that you have written heaps of sentences in Māori, Ka Pai! I see that a lot of your sentences are about sports! What is your favourite sport? Mine is Netball, but I also really like swimming and skiing!

    I notice your Google Slide is too large and is overlapping the sidebar of your blog. To make sure your Google Slide is the correct size for your blog open the post, click the html button and update the size in the html to width="640" height="380"

      HI Charlotte,

      Thanks for commenting on my blog. Yes I know. I am trying to draw a picture of my mom and I doing it together and a screencastify.

      I know, I like keeping in my work. But thank you. My favourite sport is Swimming and Basketball.

    I think that it is awesome how you are trying to complete the step-it-up version of the activity!

    I see that you enjoy playing swimming and basketball, do you play these sports often? Where do you like to swim? I like swimming at the beach!

      Thanks. I appreciate it. I always want to finish the task and not leave it unfinished.
